I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois. Tired of the harsh winters, my family moved to Florida where I have been ever since. I attended The University of North Florida. I have been teaching elementary school for over ten years and enjoy every moment of it!
I am so happy to have been afforded the oppotunity to teach at Seaside and to have looped up with my (now) fifth graders. |
About Me |
I grew up in a very small town in Illinois, playing outside from sun up to sun down (even in the snow). My family moved to Jacksonville when I was in sixth grade and I have lived here ever since. I attended the University of North Florida and have taught elementary school in Duval County for eight years (please see my resume below.) I recently attended the Art of Teaching Fourth Grade at Steiner College.
My husband, Adam, and I live in Atlantic Beach. We have a spirited 5 year old son, Finn, and a mischievous dapple dachshund named Franklin. We enjoy bike rides, beach time, hunting for sharks teeth, working out and playing outdoors.

Can you believe this was me when I was in fourth grade?
