Each morning we start our day discussing a virtue. Last week we studied loyalty. As we develop friendships, it's important to remember that loyalty doesn't mean doing whatever your friends do. In fact, it means doing what will help your friend become a better person.
The culminating activity to our novel study Wonder was creating a character analysis poster. The students were able to use their creativity to describe a main character's physical description, emotions, personality traits and change over time.
It was so wonderful to see everyone this morning. We had a great day and lots of fun! Hope you enjoy the photos!
We had such an amazing time celebrating Dr. Suess' birthday! Little Red came with her axman and some mail the postman asked her to deliver. There was a scroll with a very important invitation! We were beyond thrilled to be accepted into Hogwarts! The fun continued to Whoville, Neverland, Wonderland and Zuckerman's Farm. The smiles and excitement made my heart so happy! |
